Your Trusted Bookkeeper in Townsville

Hi! I’m Tracey-Lee, Here to Simplify Your Bookkeeping

Hi, I’m Tracey-Lee. I’m a Townsville-based bookkeeper with a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. I’m currently completing the BAS Agent program under supervision as I work towards becoming a fully licensed BAS Agent.

Bookkeeping has been a passion of mine since 2012. I love helping small businesses stay on top of their finances with personalised support, whether you’re local or working remotely.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my kids and exploring Australia with our camper trailer. I understand the balance between business and family, and I’m here to make managing your books simple and stress-free.

Professional bookkeeping services for Australian businesses

BAS Agent Supported and Ready to Help Your Business Grow

I am currently completing the Bookkeeper to BAS Agent program under the supervision of a licensed BAS Agent. This allows me to offer a full range of bookkeeping and financial management services while meeting all compliance requirements.

While I take care of your day to day bookkeeping and financial organisation, all BAS lodgements are reviewed and submitted by my supervising BAS Agent, Brittany Willard at Double Balance Pathways. This means your business benefits from the expertise of two qualified professionals, working together to ensure everything is accurate and on time — at no extra cost to you.

This professional oversight allows me to provide comprehensive bookkeeping services with confidence, while you gain peace of mind knowing your accounts are being managed with precision and care.

Frequently Asked Questions

Simple answers to common questions about my services, pricing, and how I support your business.

How much do your bookkeeping services cost, and what’s included?

Bookkeeping is charged at $55 per hour. BAS lodgements are completed by a licensed BAS Agent and range from $75 to $150 depending on the complexity. I offer flexible and transparent support tailored to your business, covering everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to BAS preparation.

What’s it like working with you, and how does remote support work?

Working with me is collaborative and supportive. I take care of your bookkeeping and keep you informed at every step. Whether you’re based locally or working remotely, we’ll use secure cloud-based tools to share documents, manage your accounts, and stay in touch through video calls, phone or email.

What’s your background and experience?

I’m Tracey-Lee, a qualified bookkeeper based in Townsville with a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. I’m currently completing the BAS Agent program under supervision. Since 2012, I’ve been passionate about helping small businesses grow with confidence through honest and personalised financial support.

What’s the difference between a bookkeeper and an accountant?

Bookkeepers manage daily financial tasks like reconciliations, payroll and data entry. Accountants usually focus on tax and financial strategy. I provide hands-on support and work under a licensed BAS Agent, so all lodgements are reviewed and submitted by a registered professional. This gives you the benefit of practical support and full compliance without any added cost.

What services do you offer, and can I do some of the work myself?

I offer a full range of bookkeeping services including bank reconciliations, payroll, invoicing, software setup, and BAS preparation under supervision. If you prefer to stay involved, I can guide you through the parts you want to manage while providing ongoing support to keep everything accurate and compliant.
